Trawling through some old photo albums last night, I came across the following from an early outing four of us from BVFG made to the Old Course 19 years ago:

Andy Marshall 50 - almost!
From http://bvetsfootballgroup.blogspot.com/
Andy will be 50 on Monday but it was arranged that he would receive his presentation shirt at the Beach last night. I wasn't present, but Dave took the photo for the records - perhaps he'll e-mail it to us?
Andy stood his hand in the Douglas last night and he'd had the good sense to bring his presentation shirt along:
and the rear view:
I asked a lady to take our group photograph and she grasped the opportunity with some enthusiasm, taking multiple shots from different angles:
I have to report a classic Senior Moment last night. Steve went to the loo and came back, sat down and leaned over to pick up his dram. I said "hands off - that's mine!". Steve looked bewildered - "where's mine then?" We all looked at the table - there appeared to be one missing - where has it gone? It was then that John McW said to me "what's that in your left hand, Ian?" Whoops!

Lord's
From http://bvetsfootballgroup.blogspot.com/
It was our annual visit to the MCC last Friday - and what a glorious day it was too. Much time was spent at the Nursery End drinking pints of Pedigree:
You obviously get a much better class of punter at the cricket - there were champagne corks popping all around the boundary rope:
If it's your turn to go for the beers for the lads, there's no problem carrying them back to the stands:
Here's one of me in front of the spaceship-like Media Centre:
A few beers and a lot of sunshine and what can a man do but grab 40 winks in the sun?:
Great day out - recommended.
