It was a lovely morning when we breakfasted on the usual sausage and bacon butties at the Horn:
When we got to Glasgow, after a few false starts, we managed to get an excellent pint of Abbott in the Doublet in Park Road:
It's a well recognised fact that Glasgow is the multi-cultural centre of the universe, but even we were left a bit gobsmacked by the street entertainment on show at Kelvinbridge subway - check out the video.
Thistle tried to make an occasion of the day and we all held up placards in the Jags colours at the start of the match:
Ultimately, it was all to no avail but we had a good day out, taking in the first half of the Liverpool-Blackburn match over lunch, and the second half of the Man U-Arsenal match with a burger before heading home in good time to see the final round of the Masters. The kitty didn't take too much of a hammering - £23 per head wasn't bad for 3 meals and 5 beers (excepting the poor driver!)
