The Banchory branch of the PTFC supporters' club travelled down to Perth yesterday to see the top of the Division 1 table clash between St Johnstone and Thistle. We travelled the Deeside route over Glenshee in Dave's family Micra and stopped off, a little road-sick, for lunch at the Moulin Inn, a lovely little hotel just outside Pitlochry which happens to have its own microbrewery.
St Johnstone had the better of the earlier exchanges and took the lead, but the Jags came back well and scored a deserved late equaliser. There was a terrific away support up from Glasgow and they completely filled one end of the ground. This was the scene after the final whistle:
