Last year's winner - Ian McRae - has booked Ballater for Friday 28th June for this year's outing. The first tee time is 2:30 pm but there will be a gathering of the clans over something to eat beforehand, and the usual grub afterwards.
All those interested in joining what is always a fun day out please let Ian (or me) know asap. Ian will advise shortly how much (if any) deposit is payable.
Below is last year's rum crew at Kemnay - can we get a few more bodies this year? Will John McWhinnie ever play at a BVFG outing again? Will Geordie Ziegler still be here then, or will he have finally returned to USA? Can Nigel Meany arrange another business trip from Dubai to coincide with this date? What about our other jet-setting travellers - Malcolm Lodge, Dave Williamson, Steve Paterson, Jack Simpson - can they arrange their diaries to suit? And what about some of the regular Friday night footballers coming along - it's about time we saw some fresh faces - golfing talent not required. How's about the return of some of the legends - Andy Gore, Fred Morrison, John Taylor?
