Next stop was the Douglas and we had a very belated presentation to make to Ewen for reaching the 500 threshold and becoming the 11th name on the shield. These were the ones who happened to be there when we took the photo - many had gone, and even more had still to arrive:
The strange faces to the left of the photo are my American son-in-law Scott and my Australian prospective son-in-law Chris.
In total there must have been about 30 people passed through the Snug this afternoon - including the whole of Dave's family. Dave did, of course, buy the drams - and, as usual, it must have cost him a fortune - but if there's one man that can afford it, it's Dave!
Lovely afternoon again - as ever, a nice start to Christmas.
