Newcastle v Man Utd

CK and I made our annual trip down to Newcastle yesterday for the Man Utd match. Ken B couldn't make it this time due to family commitments, but we arranged to meet up with Andy Gore.

We went for a few beers before the match. This photo was taken in Tilley's bar, where we had to show our tickets to prove we were "home" supporters before they would let us in. I don't know what they would have done if we'd said we weren't going to the match and all we wanted was a beer:

The match itself was a very one-sided affair, with an understrength Man Utd easily winning 4-0. Before the kick-off Hernandez was kneeling in prayer:
