It was quiz night at the Legion and we had two teams entered - Stewart, Kilgour, Sharp & McWhinnie made up a full team but Mullins and Marshall had to rustle up Gerry's father-in-law Stan but still only managed a team of three, so it was inevitable that the A team Veterans easily outscored the B team - in fact, we came in 2nd overall.
After retiring to the bar, it was time for more Friday night drams, this time to celebrate the birth last week of my 5th grandson:
