Forecasts 2010/11

From http://bvetsfootballgroup.blogspot.com/

20 was a nice round number of forecasts for last season, so we'll go for the same number again this coming season. As last year, £5 per head entry, with up to 5 changes (at £1 per change) possible at Christmas/New Year, with all proceeds going to the winner's nominated charity.

The 20 forecasts for the coming season are:

  1. SPL winners (1)
  2. SPL relegated (1)
  3. SFL winners - divs 1, 2 & 3 (3)
  4. Scotttish League Cup (CIS) winners (1)
  5. Scottish Cup winners (1)
  6. Barclays Premiership winners (1)
  7. Premiership relegated (3)
  8. Football League winners - Championship + Divs 1 & 2 (3)
  9. Carling Cup winners (1)
  10. F.A. Cup winners (1)
  11. UEFA - Champions League winners & runners-up (2)
  12. UEFA Europa League winners & runners-up (2)

Rod Liddle gave some of his forecasts in the Sunday Times yesterday:

I think the deadline for the initial 20 entries should be the end of September - there's still a chance to change 5 of the forecasts 3 months later.

Unlike last year, in the event of a tie, to encourage a healthy cheque for the charity, the first countback this season will be those that made the most changes at Christmas - i.e. paid the most in to the kitty.
